Information Exhibitors need to know!

Items to note

  • All exhibitors are required to submit an Additional Insured Certificate to the Show at least 10 days prior to the Show.  If you do not have insurance we have arranged for coverage through Rainprotections.  The cost is just $84 and will cover move-in, move-out, and all of the days of the Show.
  • If you will be selling food or beverage, whether you sample or not, you are required to get a permit from the Alameda County Health Department.  This permit must be submitted to the Show by March 31st.  CLICK HERE for the application.
  • DECORATOR - Alameda County Fairgrounds will be handling all decorator services.  CLICK HERE to download their order form.  Advance orders must be received by March 31st. 
  • 500 watts of electrical service is included with your exhibit, space regardless of the total size. If you need additional electrical service, it can be ordered through the Decorator.
  • Move-in is Wednesday, April 6th between 8 am - 8 pm. 
  • Parking passes - Purchase online from the Alameda County Fairgrounds, CLICK HERE.  Parking will be $8/day and will have in and out privileges.  Without the parking pass, the fee is $15/day with no in/out privileges.

  • Decorator Online order form.  Alameda County Fairgrounds has carpet, furniture, and accessories available to rent.  CLICK HERE for the order form.
  • Move-in & Move-out Pass - CLICK HERE,  Exhibitors must display their pass in their windshield to enter the grounds.
  • Insurance - Exhibitor Liability Insurance is required, but you can arrange to purchase through the Show for $84.
  • Wi-Fi Service - a wireless internet connection is available within the building for all to use.  The bandwidth is also available to the general public.
  • Health Permit must be obtained directly from the Alameda County Health Department: TFF VENDOR APPLICATION  (CAREFULLY read the requirements for a permit)  A copy of your Permit must be submitted to the Show by March 31st.
  • Parking Pass - parking passes must be purchased directly from Alameda County Fairgrounds. CLICK HERE to purchase your parking pass.  The fee is $8/day and includes in and out privileges.

Direct shipments to the Show will be accepted at the Show Office no earlier than 8 am, Monday, April 4th.  Strictly following the shipping address:

Decorator

Alameda County Fairgrounds is the Show Decorator.  You will receive 500 Watts of electrical service with your booth space, regardless of size.  If you require additional power, you will need to order it.   Use the ORDER FORM to purchase carpet and other booth furnishings.  

Insurance

Exhibitors must submit an Additional Insured Certificate as per paragraph 21 of your contract, page 2.  If you do not have coverage, the Show will get coverage through our carrier at a cost is just $84 for $1,000,000 single occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate coverage.  The coverage will include move-in, Show days, and move-out.  

Health Permit for Food Vendors

If you will be selling or offering samples of food or beverage to the public, you must obtain an Alameda County Health Temporary Event Food Vendor Application (TEFVA). You are required to obtain this permit whether you sample or not and regardless of other licenses or permits you or your co-packer might have,  You must submit a copy of the permit to the Show office by March 31st.

Reseller’s Permit

The State of California requires that you have a seller’s permit if you will be selling merchandise, booking orders, or taking leads at this show.

Below is the link to the California State Board of Equalization website’s E-Reg questionnaire page. Click on “Register Online” to apply for a Temporary Sellers Permit number online. If you would rather do it in person or another way, scroll down to see other options. By answering a few questions, you’ll be able to determine if your company is required to get a State of California Seller’s (Resale) Permit. You may also contact the State of California State Board of Equalization directly by calling (800) 400-7115.
