Elizabeth Vecchiarelli of Preserved, in Oakland, CA will conduct this cheese-making workshop.  24 ticketed participants will have the opportunity to make a classic fresh cheese; Ricotta.  From heating the whole milk to draining the whey, you'll learn just how simple the process is to make Ricotta.  Each participant will take home a sample of their creations, along with instructions. Everyone is invited to watch but the hands-on participants are limited to 24.  All ingredients will be supplied.
